Obituary of George Brazel
George Brazel passed away peacefully today surrounded by his family. A great man with a zest for life, he will be sorely missed.
Born February 1, 1935 in Somerset NJ he lived a spartan life as a child. At the tender age of 10 he lived by himself as a boarder on a dairy farm. Shortly after graduating High School, George went on a date with Mary Alameda Cornine, who would eventually become his wife of 60 years.
After George completed a two year stint as an Honor Guard Member with the U.S. Army, George and Mary were married in 1957. Shortly afterward they departed NJ for Syracuse NY, were George had a four year football scholarship and wound up playing on the 1959 National Championship team.
Following college, George found his niche in the business world through the sales department. Starting out in Ithaca NY selling copiers for Xerox, he culminated his tremendously successful business career by running and managing his own computer company, Tempest Products Incorporated.
With all his business success George's greatest accomplishment and asset in life was/is his family. Survived by his loving wife Mary, son Robert, daughter-in-law Dilcia, daughter Cindy, son-in-law Todd Pauly, daughter Judy, daughter Susan, son-in-law Rick Welther, sister Patty Brazel and grandchildren Rebecca, Jennifer, Kathryn, Jake, Sean, Ben and Mary.
He touched thousands of people and lives throughout his journey in life, none more so than ours.
