MOVED MANY TIMES AS ALAN’S CAREER MOVED THE FAMILY AROUND. PLACES INCLUDED,

BALTIMORE, PITTSBURGH, ERIE, WOODBURY, FAIRFAX, LAKE OF THE WOODS AND FINALLY ASHBURN

PHYLLIS WAS A WONDERFUL HOMEMAKER, RAISED THE CHILDREN TO BECOME FORTHRIGHT CITIZENS

AND EVENTUALLY GIVE HER NINE GRANDCHILDREN.

PHYLLIS LIKED TO PLAY SOCIAL BRIDGE, TRAVEL ( 5 EUROPEAN TRIPS, SOUTH EAST ASIA INCLUDING

AUSTRALIA, 17 CRUISES, AND 27 TIMESHARE EXCHANGES AROUND THE U.S. ) SHE ALSO SERVED HER

CHURCH AS STEWARD AT LAKE OF THE WOODS.

ASHBY PONDS HAS BEEN ONE OF HER HAPPIEST EXPERIENCES IN RETIREMENT. SHE DOESN’T LIKE TO

COOK, ENJOYS THE FELLOWSHIP, ACTIVITIES AND WONDERFUL STAFF SERVING HER EVERY NEED.
