Wednesday, January 3, 2018I wish to extend my deepest condolences to the Vargas family during this time of great sorrow. Gabriel or as I knew him "Nono" was a very charismatic and lively person. His larger than life attitude and personality was infectious to all that met him. I know that to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. I am comforted in knowing that he is no longer in pain. I pray that these words offer comfort and peace to the Vargas family. Sincerely, Reggie Sampson "In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?" John 14:2 (English Standard Version)

Please know you will always be loved and cherished by me, the kids and the rest of the Vargas family. As your first born granddaughter just know I love you and will always carry a piece of you everywhere I go. Thank you for supporting my decision to follow the steps you laid down as a military service member. It is my sincere Honor to pass on the Vargas legacy serving in the Armed Forces. I love and respect you grandpa, I hope you found peace and are along side of Nona. May you rest in enteral peace. Love Always, CPT Nicole Marie Vargas
