Obituary of Gabino P. Machado

Gabino P Machado suddenly left this world on January 31st. He was 52 years old, just 3 weeks shy of his 53rd birthday.

Gabino was born in El Salvador in 1969. Seeking to have a better life and future he moved to the United States in 1988 when he was only 19 years old. When he first came to this country, he had a slew of different jobs before committing to a career in construction. In 1997, he moved and lived in Sterling with his immediate family and has since resided in town for the last 25 years.

Gabino was a charismatic man that made friends everywhere he went. Every person that Gabino invited into his home, was made to feel like a part of the family. He was a devoted family man who always strove to make time for his wife and his two daughters. Not only was he a devoted family man, he was a wonderful and caring friend who always made time to be there to support those closest to him. Gabino enjoyed watching soccer games on the weekends, with a cold one in his hand and just enjoyed the company of those surrounding him. The Machado household was full of light and laughter because of Gabino.

He is survived by his wife Ana Morales, his two daughters Leslie and Cynthia Machado, and his brother Yonis A. Machado. He will be remembered and missed by numerous cousins, family, and friends.

Services for Gabinos’ funeral will be handled by Adams Green Funeral Home in Herndon, VA. The viewing will be held at Adams Green Funeral home on Friday February 11th from 5-8 PM. A Catholic Mass (Spanish) will be held at Christ the Reedemer Catholic Church on Saturday February 12th at 12 PM.
