Q: How did you meet Janice?
A: Lee and I were roommates during our second year of law school, and Jan and my future wife, Karla, were roommates. Lee was dating Jan and introduced me to Karla, and eventually both couples married within a week of each other. Later, the four of us lived in Washington, D.C. and we had wonderful times together. We eventually returned to California, but we visited each other often and kept in touch. Jan was a beautiful lady in every way - intelligent, talented, charming, and with a great sense of humor. We are saddened by her passing, and our hearts go out to Lee and the family.

Q: How did you meet Janice?
A: Jan, and her husband Lee, have been our next-door neighbors for decades. We shared a driveway (and shoveling it). We shared passing moments and the little jokes and laments about goings-on in our neighborhood and our nation and the world. We shared dinners. And most of all, in retrospect, we shared Jan's grace, in every sense of the word. I know that we will meet again, and it will be a joy.
